Shops open for business

I feel like 2016 has been nothing new, what it has been though is rewarding, I fought off the urge for more projects and focused on the ones I currently have.

Tying up loose ends in the garage has been one thing, the website has been another. The name “Engineered to Slide” was coined just ten years ago and its been a rapid rise, I have learnt so much in that time, pushed myself to be better at every aspect of the business (ill get to that soon) and just generally tried to do everything to the best of my ability.

The preparation for the WTAC event brought with it a fresher approach to merchandising for ETS, in the pursuit to do things simpler ETS took on a refreshing appearance that distinctly set itself apart from all others, I love that about this era of ETS, it just seems like its all starting to fit in and become my own and I couldn’t be happier about it.

I mentioned that word business before, this is still my after hours side hustle that is driven by the love rather than the $$, the question had been asked a lot at recent events, I see people come up and look around the cars and bikes, look up at the flags, read the logo and then ask “what is it that you do”? I dont really have much of an answer for it either, I cant really sum up what I do in a sentence that wont bore the normal person.

I guess its all just for the love of creation, the cars, the bikes, this writing, the adventure, the photos, the website, the merchandise, the people and the name that ties all of this in together has been one hell of a ride.

Where is all this going? I dont know, that’s the beauty of doing it for the love, it heads down the exact path its meant to, there are no forced deviations and thats what I love about it.

Thanks for the continued support and remember every single cent of your order goes into the future of these very pages, take a look through the store and check out all the new products available for 2017.
