With the announcement of Oran Park closing we decided to head north and drive the circuit they call “driftland” this kicks off part 2 of reflections!
ran Park was a fun track and its a joke that the place was ripped down to build homes.
At this stage i had not done a whole lot to the chassis on the 180SX, i was happy with the reliability and simplicity of the build. In between events i managed to get a few small jobs done, the rear strut tops needed a raise!
The end result of a couple of hours work.
The car then received a good clean up in preparation for the next event, if i could go back to a stage in my cars life i would probably skip to this moment, it just looked so good!
The TE37s off my PS13 on the rear and a pair of 17×9+0 sourced from japan for the front.
At winton raceway to test out the strut tops and a few other changes.
Everything was working well and the look of the bronze TE with the red paint changed me forever, after this event i would source some fronts to match my rears, the white TEs would be sold off to fund them.
