Solar Car Chassis Project
Building a tube chassis car is not for everyone, but you might be surprised at just how easy it can be. Using the right materials, learning to cut, notch, bend and weld makes the seemingly impossible…. possible. To demonstrate this I built a tube frame solar car chassis to help guide you through the process and throughout this 4 part project you will see a bunch of plans turn into a reality.
We go through a lot of the processes used in motorsport fabrication and these can be found in the Skills area of this site, you can also see the plans for some of the specialist machines that I am using which you can also construct using our plans found in the downloads section.
