When the old becomes new

With the ute deep into the build stage you would think the next project wouldnt even be in the planning stages, well it is and as soon as the ute turns a tyre in anger i will be back into the tube work creating something with half as many wheels and a whole lot more heritage. Read on for more.

Both the above motorcycles are built by the company Falcon and are of the highest quality. I have been looking for a suitable engine to start the project for a while now and will continue until the right one is found, then it will be a 1 off handmade 4130 chromoly frame and custom machined everything.

If i could find a an old Vincent motor then life would be sweet, Vincent is actually my middle name thanks to my father being a fan of the company in the early days. You just cant help but smile when you see the freedom these guys had back in the old days. Do yourself a favor and watch the entire “On any Sunday” documentary, its such a fantastic film!

  6. If you go an xs then everything in your garage will still be jap! ! Just a triumph twin without the oil leaks and reliability probs. Heaps of aftermarket parts avail too.

  7. A cafe racer and/or bobber is just another project on my wish-list that I don’t have the skills to undertake, so I’ll thoroughly enjoy watching you build a classic bike the ETS way.
