What a day, it took a ten part series to cover what happened in 10 hours of drifting, drift matsuri runs all night, my cameras not up to the task of capturing any night action so ill just finish off day 1 with some shots before dark. Casey, Xian and i stayed till 4 am and the action was still non stop.
Minami course was still happening, this S13 was waiting patiantly for a thrashing!
Cool Cefiro caught our attention, i was suprised there wernt more of these, seems the JZX series gets the nod before a Cefiro.
After watching the Matsuri you get a good indication what works and what dosnt, suprisingly an NA SR20 works better than you would think, for rock bottom $$ you can have some seriose fun.

We headed back down to Driftland to check whats going on.
Things were ramping up, the lighting on the driftland course is perfect for all night action, if you have enough tyres that is.
Darkness decends, we head into town to get some 7-11 dinner and beers, throw some more jumpers on and settle in for a long night of passenger rides and good times.
