Tapping Threads Process

Most if not all of our projects will have some form of bolts securing them together, a bolt is only as good as the thread itself and in this process we take a look at the technique and tools required to create a thread inside a hole with a tap, or on the outside of a shaft with a die.
After shooting this video I developed our own drilling and tapping chart with an added bonus, a decimal equivalent chart to help us work out the sizes in both metric and fractional. This can be downloaded in our Downloads section.
