ETS Drift Ute – Fixed and Fired

In my previous post I found the issue with the cam trigger sensor

I wired up a new GT101 hall effect sensor and routed the wiring through a welsh plug hole, its a more direct route with less chance of wire contact on the engine.

It runs perfectly now and I took it for a nice long drive, Video footage to come!

  1. Does the wire pass through emgine coolant? I’m thinking the welsh plug seals the water jacket

    • I believe that welsh plug on the front of the head covers an oil return gallery – not pressurized.

    • It goes into the cavity where the timing chain is
