ETS Drift Ute – Staying up late

You have seen the air jacks in action in my previous post, so what do I do if something fails like an airline?

Well I have got that covered, I went to my local Metalland and picked up some heavy wall tube with an internal diameter of 40mm. The piston on the jacks are 38.1mm (1.5 inch) so I slotted the tube with the angle grinder, buffed them up on the linisher, bent up some 12.5mm tube (1/2 inch) with a small hand bender and welded them on for handles.

Now I can air up the chassis, slot the tubes in and feel safe enough to work on it.

Whats next? I think a tube frame pit cart with 200mm wide spoked go kart wheels could do!
