ETS Drift Ute – Day 7

19992

Day 7 was set to be a pretty amazing day, with the Hilux running and everything working well we were ready to take it to the dyno.

19993

After I pushed it out of the trailer Andre kept going over the tune to clean it up so there was less work top do once we got on the trailer.

19995

Once it was on the dyno and strapped down Andre spent a little time checking over the tune and getting some heat into everything, the motors still fresh so it needed some time on the rollers before power pulls.

19997

It was good to check over everything else and make sure there were no issues. Practically everything on this I either rebuilt by hand or researched and purchased so its good to see everything working in harmony.

Tomorrow we start doing the real tuning and Andre teaches me how to tune from the drivers seat, I’m looking forward to this and have to send a big thank you to Aaron and Craig at DTM Geelong, these guys have sacrificed a couple of days for us to have on the dyno and we really appreciate it.

  1. Good stuff! Interesting to hear a bit of an explanation of what goes into getting it all setup and running (even though I only have a basic understanding of that stuff. Haha).
