After spending the night on the TIG the crossmember is bolted to the engine mounts and ready to slide under the PS13
Ok its not entirely finished yet, i needed to bolt the motor to it, bolt it in the chassis and then position the steering rack, ive drawn up some sketches and ill tackle that problem tomorrow night.
So whats the benefit? Well apart from the fact im a fabrication geek the motor is 15mm lower, the steering rack can be mounted as high or low as you want, it can also be moved over 100mm further forward, its as light as a feather, has adjustable LCA mounts for the lowest of cars and then theres the fact it looks super neat and ive always wanted to do it.
