You know that book thats so hot right now “Fifty shades of grey”? Well i guess theres more than 50 shades of grey in this project, what you are seeing is raw Nissan steel with a coat of clear over it.
When my friend lent me the use of his sandblaster i took everything that looked ugly and stripped it back till it was raw. I did pull everything apart before hand and sealed up all the bearings ect
Not even the steering rack was safe! I guess theres going to be a lot of silver and greys with everything raw but i think it will all tie in nicely, can’t scratch anything either.

Nigel, what are you using to get these parts so clean? Are you sand/bead blasting or putting them through some kind of chemical stripper?
