Another Project? ETS Trailer Build

After work i picked up all the steel for the new trailer i have designed to build. My last trailer has been really good but i wanted something really low this time, those that have seen my current trailer would say its already low enough but this will be just a little different. Im using extruded alloy planks that measure 4m long as the wheel track decking, i designed and had laser cut some 6 ” drop spindles that bolt in some Falcon wheel bearing assemblies, for the suspension I’m going to build a twin two link axle with 6″ Slam Specialties Air Bags all round.

The idea is to have a removable wheel and tyre rack on casters that unclips from the front section of the trailer and forms part of my pit bay making pit setup time that little bit easier, this will house a nitrogen bottle for both the air jacks on the hilux and air for the bags on the trailer. I plan on tacking everything together this weekend and then starting on the suspension side of things. Should be good to see it all come together.
