The last 2 months have been pretty full on for me, after moving house my goal was to get the shed to a point where i can comfortably get back to work on the projects. This meant the Hilux project had to take a backseat for a while, ive been itching to get back into it and over the break i decided to redo the rear quarters and start fresh with a solid base and a proper jig to work off. Heres what i came up with.It was decided that i needed something i could mount the panels onto, have the wheels in the position they needed to be and then cut the guards to allow me to start rebuilding them to my desired profile. As a bonus I can wheel it around and check different offsets etc. Ill be starting the shaping process tonight with 5mm wire.
