For over 3 years the 180SX has been too low to fit any type of jack underneath it, I have been jacking it off tow hook for all this time. It was time to make something that makes that process a heap easier. My TIG welder is out of action at the moment so I had to revert back to the MIG. Its quiet easy to jack now and the rear bumper is also supported nicely.
Although it looks quiet low the jacking pin is a lot higher than the fuel tank and the exhaust. Theres also a support bar that runs back to the chassis in the center to support it.

looks awesome as usual. does it flex much/any when you jack it up?
Nigel
Thanks Matt, it dosnt flex at all, its got a plate that bolts to the exsisting fuel tank strap support.

best idea ever as usual haha, only low profile jacks fit under my car….you think a pipe welded to the stock metal bumper thing will work aswell?
Ben
that’s awesome man, I’ve allways had the idea of making a similar setup for the Sprinter but haven’t had the time, great work! 🙂
