With the removable front tube section now all tacked up and mounted the front end structure is starting to take shape, now to start thinking about cooler positions.
i agree i would love to see this with a v mount setup, if the hood would flow with your overall design. would be a real nice attention grabber in the engine bay
It does needs something different and eye catching, V mount would work as the grille passes a heap of air through. The bonnet may need some major work, as long as it dosnt protrude into the lines it might be a goer, ill get my measuring tape onto it.
just dont dont be like everyone else and have the oil coolers the lowest on the ground so it explodes when you hit a cone lol………saw that happen this week end
Hi! does anyone knows what kind of tube is Nigel using? and how to manage with cutting and welding tube? I mean you first draw your design or something? how complex is that? I know it must be but some steps are…?
Also what kind of wheels you recommend for drifting? do you know the “rota wheels” or “volk wheels”?
Paulie
looks good. gotta be a v mount i reckon.
but that would mean a large bonnet vent, dunno if that’ll work with the style of the ute

No way V-mount, that would be a waste, mount the cooler and rad side by side, there enough room!

Amazing build Nigel. To see updates on your blog is a good start of the day 🙂 Keep up the fantastic engineering and updates!!

Rodger that 🙂
Julian
are you eventually going to sheet the inside of the engine bay? or just leaving the tubs open?
Nigel
Probably going to leave it all open and make it a strictly dry weather drift car 🙂
