ETS Drift Ute – Engine Mounts

Designing these engine mounts has been one of the hardest jobs of the build, in the end I decided to run regular tubular mounts onto a suspension bush and weld tabs to the floor, its going to work well but its not as neat as I would have hoped. Its good to know that everything will be rubber mounted though. After being at Ken Block yesterday the urge to drive this has been re-ignited.

  4. if u are running the engine plate it is going to be hard to get the motor out with mount tabs that way … if they went the other way it would slip forward and out ….

  5. So how do you plan on using the engine plate if your going to have rubber mounts on the block , you may as well have solid plates on the water pump an on the other side of the block , your still going to have vibration noise…..are you aware that the plate will have to be 8 mm as the taper on the M12 is 6.8mm deep , i know im doing something similar to a gemini wagon…
