A friend sent me some early drag photos the other day, just love the old chassis shop. If you told these guys that these days all your gussets, tubes and tabs are laser cut and all you have to do (if you had full CAD data) was to weld the whole lot together they would laugh at you. I just wonder what the future holds for chassis fabrication? Will we ever look back on a TIG welder and say “geez remember those TIG welders we used to use”…..
