Japan Day 12 – G1 Comp and BBQ

Day 12 was early start, we headed to the track to get the cars prepped and entrys in for the G1 comp that was to be run on the Nishi course.

John and Leigh lined up to represent Australia. Australia had so many great drivers at this event. Some were just here for fun and others came for just one thing, THE WIN!!

Alexi took the drive up in his JZX, such a good looking car.

Christian had his S13 out, this cars special to him and many others, it was prepared by Kouroi, it seemed to drive so well, a great testament to a great man.

Andy and Emily from Powerviehicles were ready to do battle on there home track, some thought the two had a slight advantage by having driven the place so much but anything can happen in battles and it was game on!

Daigo Sato rocked up in a 240SX (yes LHD) with an LS1, it seemed odd that such a USDM car was sitting at Ebisu. He was preparing for Matsuri.

Theres no action shots as my cameras not suited to them, i put it away and enjoyed the action. Heres the BBQ that we enjoyed after the sun went down.

Chris Dejager was awarded the win and quiet deservingly so, hes a fantastic driver with so much talent. We enjoyed some drinks, food and a chat with some guy who looked like a D1 driver :).

Not to mention the Venus Challenge Championship winner Sumika.

The night went on with many drinks and good times, thanks to the team Orange guys for putting on such an event.
