To carry on from Part 1 here is more of the sights we saw at Nikko Circuit pits.
Its amazing how much use drift cars get in Japan, heres the S15 we saw at Mobara MSC event the week before.
This S14 was piloted by an amazing driver
He might just be Tomohiro the D1 driver, can anyone confirm?
This 180SX was bright!
Late model engine, it ran the Tomei ARMS turbo i showed in the last Nikko post
Slash plates means he drove it to the event.
Less is more, this car was very very basic yet handled the Nikko layout just fine.
Bare essentials but it did the job so well.
On the other end of the scale was this fullhouse S14
The interior was all blue with two blue Bride bucket seats and retrimmed in blue bride material.
Just look at the paint!!
He drove the morning session and left early in the afternoon, i would too with paint like that!
Far too green!!
I love white 180sx’s as much as red, they work so well!
This Silvia was a solid runner all day
This ones seen better days, dosnt stop it performing though.
This 180 must have been hard to drive
Bacause the driver was fast asleep in the passenger side.
They have powernaps down to a fine art!
Still more to come from the pits at Nikko in the next post
