Japan Day 6 – Wonder

After just a few hours sleep and a mind that was full of day 5s action we trekked on to see what else this crazy country would throw at us. It didnt take long for us to be in the action again.

We were greeted by Manabu Mitsumori and his lovely JZX100, Manabu works at wonder and was kind enough to take a break from his busy schedule and show us around on a fine saturday afternoon.

Keep an eye on this blog as i had the incar camera running in his car for the JZX day at Nikko circuit on the following monday, Manabu was very kind to invite us along and it wouldnt be our last stop to Nikko circuit.

The car was modified in all the right areas, it was stripped down to make it as light as possible.

You know i cant get enough of TE37s and they hit the spot on this car!

The motor was very light tune, the complex factory turbo setup was ditched in favour for a full K5 Blitz kit.

The joys of a 4door, you can carry all your spares in the backseat.

I was loving it, my Jumble Mart jacket clashes nicely against the paint!

A customer was picking up his JZX90 which was modified perfectly for street use.

A splash of VIP and drift car

Another Midnight Rose team member had his S14 at Wonder

There lied the RB26 Goodyear/ Wonder sponsored D1 C35 Laurel

The shops trophys and achievements

The yard was full of awesome machinery, this was only one side.

If your lucky enough to have a copy of the latest Japan Nostalgia car magazine then you will see Manabu’s Spirant 86 in there, i brought home about 6kg worth of magazines.

If Manabu ever reads this i want to thank him so much for his time, such a nice guy whos contributed so much to the Japanese drift scene, keep pumping out awesome cars Manabu!!
