Japan Day 5 – Fuji Speedway

We made it to Fuji Speedway and were amazed at the sheer size of the place, ive never seen a racetrack anywhere as big as this.

We were so happy there was some action on the main track

Turns out it was an Evolution Vs WRX day and there were plenty of awesome cars to look at.

We stood at the end of the main straight and saw tyre smoke on one of the other tracks. A quick look on the map we spotted a small track called driftland, as you would have guessed it didnt take us long to make it there.

There are tracks everywhere inside the main venue, its amazing that an F1 spec circuit actually has a desegnated track for drifting. I wish the australian track owners would see us as a legitament motorsport.

What a perfect venue

With a great vibe about the pits, it seems like a trip to the racetrack is a fun family day out in Japan.

Racetrack fashion is strictly overalls at every event we went to.

This crazy 4 door R33 was owned by a girl.

This JZX90 was doing well, looked great on 34gtr wheels.

What a day, thats a wrap for Fuji Speedway,  it was so good to see what goes on at this place on a weekday, the japanese are so lucky when it comes to world class race venues, adopt me japan, adopt me!
