Mooneyes Japan

If your into custom bikes or cars then Mooneyes should be a familiar name to you.

I couldn’t resist taking my girlfriend out for tea on our first night in Japan, where do you go? Moon Cafe of course.

Even though the food is amazing its the cars and bikes i was here to see. A couple of the employees rods sit out in the weather hoping for sunny days.

The garage out the back is pretty much the coolest garage ive seen in my life. The Japanese do American so well.

And German?

In typical Japanese style everything is a feature

Even the work Van didnt escape the custom touch.

A dually Hilux? You begin to expect anything in Japan

Once you step inside your senses are blown with the possibilities

The walls are littered with event posters and Moon products

I wish i was in Japan for the upcoming show that Mooneyes put on.

Because the Motorcycles that are displayed there are the coolest in the world

See what i mean?

Just look at that paintwork

Just imagine blasting through peakhour Tokyo traffic on this

If your looking to kick off your project with some inspiration then Mooneyes is worth a visit

Theres a tank to suit any taste

I was in love with this carbon tail piece, such a classic style with lightweight modern technology

Infact its difficult to walk out of here empty handed

The staff are all super nice and after a quick chat i showed the guys what i had been up to, they loved the Hilux and then they signed my magazine with their cars in it, thanks guys.

The bikes in the garage

See what i mean, the coolest garage

Spun alloy lamp, the best light fitting in the world

Couple of boosted motors up the back

As far as pinstriping goes the Japanese are the best in the world, Mooneyes have an onsite pinstrpe artist for all types of custom work.

Just a casual sign, wow!

So if your in Tokyo head to Yokohama to check out Mooneyes, but remember it will take a few hours to look at everything.
