ETS Drift Ute – The next level

Since working at MCA suspension in Queensland Murray Coote and I have teamed up to make some air jacks, they turned out really nice and I’ve decided to run them on the Hilux as its going to be a hassle getting a jack under all this alloy panelling.

I have cut the holes in the chassis and made collars for them to screw into, i just have to get some locking rings and weld them in, time to add Nitrogen to the list of gas bottles i own.

Ive been putting a lot of hours into finishing off a lot of the welding aswell, the engine bay is basically finished now.

    • Im trying to make things as well engineered as possible, as far as weight goes i have no idea, 1050kg with driver would be cool.

  7. Nitrogen apparently makes a great gas for filling tires with too. An old-school racer told me that, it’s supposed to help maintain a cooler temperature inside the tire when you’re running them hard on the track… or something like that..
