Origin – Bringing back the kit

This 180SX has had many face changes, the most common has been Uras and Type X, ive swapped between those kits about ten times and now on to Origin, with thanks to Savanna Motorsport in SA comes this fresh new Origin Aggressive kit with Origin accessories, so how does it all fit? Read on.

Last night was spent panel beating out the damaged rear quarter, you have to love the amount of rubber that falls out of the guards whenever you hammer anything on a drift car.

The kit fitted up perfect with a little trimming and drilling, this is the major difference with genuine aero, ive used some horrid copys in my past and this Origin kit was the best fit ive ever come across.

All my alloy ducting fitted nicely into the vents and the tow hooks even fit aswell, i love the new Origin front 40mm fenders, they make the front end seem a lot lower than the standard metal guards.

The Carbon Canards will only be fitted for shows and tracks without ripple strips.

Id like to personally thank Katie and Bart for their help this year, the new look will be completed for Vicdrifts Drift Attack then the QLD leg of ADGP round 2

    • Ah but the good thing is that TypeX will never be sold, it will one day be all put on a spare 180SX that will be the “pretty car” this is for thrashing and thrashing needs big kit!

    • Haha, thats awesome, i have no idea why my car ate rubber so much last weekend. I know my throttle input was 100% 80% of the time 🙂
